Our Staff

My name is Tanya Kaliel. I grew up attending Pembina Hills schools myself and feel very lucky to teach in one now. I graduated from the University of Alberta in 1999 and started my career as a HeadStart teacher in Edmonton. I took a few years off after this to raise my own children and then in 2004, I began teaching at Busby School. I taught all the Grades music and I also was able to teach language arts, math and science to the Grade 1/2 class as well as the Grade 4 class. This is my fourth year teaching Kindergarten here at Busby School and I absolutely love it!
