Reading Month -Thanks for the extra effort at home!
The staff just wanted to extend a huge thank you to all the parents and families for putting in the extra effort at home to create those ‘crazy hats’, and ‘idiom costumes’. We know this takes up valuable time and we wanted to let you know that we appreciate your help making our literacy month such a success so far. If you didn’t get a chance yet, stop by our Facebook page and challenge yourself to our ‘Idiom Costume Challange’.
March 11th -Play a literacy game with your class or buddy class.
March 12th -Campout -bring a sleeping bag and flashlight to read your favourite book
March 13th -PD Day (no school) -Enjoy a graphic novel
March 14th -Do a word search or crossword as a family
March 15th -Read the instructions and build Lego together or play a board game as a family
March 16th -Karaoke – read the lyrics to your favourite song!
March 17th -St. Patrick’s Day! Read a St. Paddy’s daybook and dress in green and gold!
March 18th –Waldo Wednesday- Dress up like Where’s Waldo and find all 6 Waldo’s hidden around the school!
The schedule for interviews on the 17th and 19th are in this week’s Wednesday envelope.

Parent Advisory Council Meeting
There is an upcoming Parent Advisory Council meeting this Monday, March 16th at the school. The meeting starts at 4:00 p.m. Babysitting will be provided.
