New Newsletter Format Now Available

In an attempt to reduce the use of paper products, we will now be offering our weekly newsletter in a new, easy to access, digital format. If you would like to update your paper subscription of our weekly newsletter to a digital one, please indicate so in your child’s agenda. In the meantime please visit our school’s website at, www.busbyschool.ca and click on the News and Events section to find the Newsletters tab. Newsletters will also be posted to our Facebook page so be sure to follow us on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/busbyschool/.

Parent, Teacher, and Student Interviews

Interviews will be hosted on March 17th and 19th, from 4:00-7:30 p.m. Watch for interview times in next Wednesday’s envelope. If you would like to request a certain day please contact Shelley in the office by Thursday, March 5th as she will be scheduling appointments this Friday.

Grade 6s off to Junior High

March 19th, 2020

Busby’s grade 6 class has been invited to R.F. Staples to experience a “day in the life” of a grade 7 student. Our students will get the opportunity to experience core classes in the junior high setting. In the afternoon our students will be treated to lunch courtesy of the Senior High Foods class and before heading back to Busby, the grade 6 class will get take part in Options with their grade 7 Buddy. Students will return in time for afternoon busses. Please have your permission forms into the office ASAP.

Storm Chaser Coming to Busby

On Monday, March 9th, Busby is excited to host Chris Chittick a Tornado Chaser from the television show, Tornado Hunters. Students will be treated to an educational and entertaining presentation on how to read the weather, storm safety, and severe weather education through the host’s best stories, photos, and videos from the field. The presentation will start at 2:30 in the gym. Thank you to PAC for making this experience possible.
