Our grade 5 and 6 classes had another fantastic day of land-based learning with Trapper Perry. Due to the massive snow dump, we ended the day back in Miss. Knapp's classroom to finish up our carving lesson. Thanks so much, Perry and Hunter, for sharing your knowledge with us!
We were very grateful to have Mr. Nenshi take time out of his busy schedule to visit our grade 4-6 students! He spoke about the importance of civic engagement and how every voice matters in shaping our communities. He also shared his personal experiences of transitioning from municipal to provincial government, giving students a behind-the-scenes look at the different responsibilities and challenges at each level.
Our school will be taking part in Reading Week again this year. We will have daily reading activities that students will do with their classes. Happy Reading!...
